Аннотация

The general theory of kinematical diffraction by a nonideal polytype superlattice consisting of an
arbitrary number of layers has been developed within the framework of the statistical approach to X-ray scat-
tering. The theory is based on the simultaneous allowance for two types of structural changes–distortion of the
crystal lattice caused by the statistically distributed microdefects and distortion of the periodicity of an addi-
tional potential of the superlattice caused by the thickness fluctuations in the layers forming its period. The
effect of each type of the structural distortions on the formation of the diffraction reflection curve is established
with the aid of numerical modeling.
