Аннотация

The results of investigation of the room temperature tensile properties and microstructure of aus-tenitic stainless steels and ferritic/martensitic steel are presented. The cladding fuel tubes manufac-tured by PM HIP and by traditional technology were tested. The ring tensile test method was optimized and successfully used. The microstructure and the carbon and boron distribution in the traditional hot forged semi-finished products, PM HIP compacts and claddings were examined by autoradiography on boron and carbon. The rapidly quenched powders of investigated steels were produced mainly by centrifugal atomization via the plasma rotating electrode process. Positive effect of PM HIP-technology on the room temperature tensile properties of the investigated steels was established. Correlation of the homogeneity of carbon and boron with the mechanical properties of investigated steels was re-vealed.
